A LITTLE ABOUT ME
When I’m not legging it backwards for a confetti shot, I’m the friendly bloke who’ll chat to your nan, fuss the dog, and quietly clock the tiny things that make your day yours. I’m big on real laughs, happy tears, messy dancefloors and zero faff. No stiff posing — just calm direction when it actually helps.
A few things that seem to follow me around: a camera, muddy trainers, an alarming love of flat whites, and two ridiculous dogs (hi, Willow & Bertie). Me and my partner Ali and I tied the knot ourselves in May 2025, which only doubled down my belief that honest, unforced photos hit the heart hardest.
Sometimes Ali joins when a second set of eyes genuinely helps (two prep locations, big guest lists). Either way, it stays relaxed, candid and easy
ABOUT AARON
My photography journey started when I received a free Canon camera back when I was around 15, Having ADHD I have always found photography to be a massively creative space where I can just be free to experiment and capture the world around me. Having spent over 10 Years taking photos of everything I could I thought it was time to start using my skills to provide someone with precious memories.
I started off taking photos for a lovely couple who put their trust in me on their wedding day and since then haven't looked back
Magpie Magpie was born from that moment and i'm super excited to see whats to come.
ABOUT ALI
Not only is she my beautiful wife, she's also the one that keeps the gears running, although she's stepping into the world of photography, she is my point person when it comes to getting people together and making sure that we never miss a beat behind the scenes. Ali has her own boutique business and in the past has had some amazing roles, one being the PA to the Governor of the Tower of London... I think she actually created the word 'Organisation'
Together we work seamlessly, we tackle ceremonies like an army operation communicate telepathically all to capture your big day, As a newly married couple we find it’s a real art, that you need to see for yourself.
OUR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY JOURNEY AND STYLE
We’ve shot lots of weddings, Lots of events including my son in his band and so many shots of our 2 dogs - Willow and Bertie that my Iphone ran out of memory - Don't worry I have proper techy equipment for your wedding!
On our journey as wedding photographers we’ve been fortunate in meeting so many lovely couples to the point we are invited to their own personal parties as guests - We love making new friends.
We’ve also been to so many venues from Coutryside boho weddings in fields, barns, castles and everything in between.
We’ve laughed our way through so many speeches and danced our way through many wedding receptions each with their own spin on music - it's been awesome.
My ultimate style is natural, creative, alternative and fun with a whole bunch lot of love, heart, tears and soul thrown in.
Poses are not something we seek, usually it's the small smiles, the winks, the tears and the joy - but if a pose os something you're after then we can deliver. We aim to capture you, just being you. The rest of the time we’re all about capturing yours and your families moments.
Our journey with you usually starts with an email, followed by a meet up or a video call, and it will end at your special day on the dance floor cutting some shapes!
OUR OWN LOVE STORY
We're to start?..
Well we got together in 2021 mysteriously through the power of Facebook dating, one random morning both single we opened accounts and matched within minutes on the same morning, Fate right there!
Since then we have bought a house in rural Norfolk, joined forces with 2 dogs - Who are slowly learning to tolerate each other, we've travelled far and wide Bali being our favourite and got engaged last year in Sicily... It was beautiful!
Aaron even got down on one knee! Traditionalist right there, even though if you ask him he's say no.
We were married in May this year (2025) and had the most wonderful day!
This is another reason why wedding photography is so important to us, and we understand the value in capturing the day as we ourselves cherish our wedding day, the photos and the memories
